My Sheath Dress

How the future looms with dreams of eternity in one linked "I do"....... Please comment.
Hands on the rail,
Leaning in, stretching
Twinkling lights below.
Slight breeze,

Bumps on my arm,
Dressed in my sheath dress,
Pale chiffon,
Color of peach.

Hair flowing raven black,
Closed eyes, breathing in deeply.
Your arm reaching out
Strong hands on mine

Hands on my shoulders
Turning me around
Tilting my head up,
I look into your eyes.

Tenderness, pouring love
I reach out and trace
A trembling finger
From your eyes

-Lashes so thick-
To your strong jaw
Rugged like
Hard rock.

On my toes,
My lips on your jaw
One kiss.
Your fingers curling in my hair.

Now your lips on my closed eyes.
I rest my head on your rising chest
Hearing the fast beat
Racing with mine

Why? I don't know.
We're married now
Honeymoon......
Like my childhood dreams.

This time,
It's reality.
I love you.
