At about 5 in the morning, her phone started ringing. She was really annoyed but decided too answer it any way. It was Kelly, who sounded really tensed, "Clara, Mark is leaving. Derrick just called and told me to let u now. U better meet him now or else u will never get to meet him again." Then Clara hung up. She quickly got ready and drove towards Mark’s. She wasn’t sure what she was doing but she knew that she had to do this. When she reached to Mark’s, he was outside his apartment along with his bag packs. Clara thought she looked horrible, but she didn’t really care as long as she got a chance to talk with Mark. Mark still looked hurt but when he saw Clara, she managed to give her a quick smile and say, "I’m sorry about yesterday. I should not have done that to you."
Clara was really mad at him, and she said," What do you think you are doing, huh? What do you think I am? You are coming to my life when ever you want and leaving me……… I hate you for that. Clara started crying, she just could not control it anymore. Mark came towards her and gently kissed her and said, "I’m doing this for you. You were right when you said I was too late but I don’t want to come between you and Den. But plz try to understand me. I always loved you. I loved you so much. Ever since I have known you, I have loved you. I had tried to say this to you so many times but I just could not open my mouth. I had send u those notes, gifts, and flowers to let u know that I will always keep on loving u and where ever I’ll go, I will still have you in my heart, and…….."
"What did you just say? You mean you are the one who send me those notes, and….. why didn’t you ever told me?"
"I wasn’t sure how you would react."
"I love you. I love you so much. I’m sorry about yesterday. But I don’t want you to leave me, not now not ever. Please don’t leave me, I can’t live without you."
"Baby, I’m not gonna leave u not ever. I just love u too much. I have tried to stay away from u so many times but I don’t think I can. Now that I know that u feel the same for me, I promise that I will never leave you." Mark was on his knees and said, "I have always been late to tell you my feeling but I don’t wanna be late again. Will you do me a favor by being mine forever? Will you marry me?". Clara started crying like before but the only difference was that this time she was crying cause she was extremely happy. "Yes, I will." With that, Mark gave her a huge smile and they both started kissing each other. They soon stopped when they saw Den watching them angrily.
"Why did u guys do this to me? Why did u guys have to go behind my back?", Den asked angrily.
"Den, I’m sorry but……" Clara tried to explain but Den cut her of "If you always loved him then why did u have to do that to me?" Mark tried to say something but Den would not let him speak. "Just forget it. It was all my fault that I ever trusted you guys. You guys will soon regret." After saying that, Den left. Mark came towards Clara and comforted her. She hugged him really tightly.
"He’s not gonna do anything, baby. It’s okay. I’m with u and I’ll always be."
"Mark, what about Den?"
"Don’t worry. I know him. He’s soon gonna find someone else for him."
"What?" Clara was really shocked cause den seemed to really love her.
"You will soon find out." It didn’t matter to her that much cause she had Mark with her, and she loved him.
After about a week, Den already had a girlfriend which made it clear that Den didn’t really loved her. She was really glad cause she made the right choice by accepting Mark.
