My Rabbit Hole Story

It started with the fall through the rabbit hole...
He grabbed my hand to save me from the treacherous fall onto the checkered floors below...
He said come with me, and I shall show you the way to wonder...
I said no...but still he persisted...
So I finally relented and took his hand...
He lead me through the crosswalks and mazes of the wonders around me...
I marveled in silence at the beauties and fantasies all around me...
He looked back at me and smiled a knowing smile...
There were the upside down waterfalls that held forever heart shaped water droplets...
There were the rains that turned into ink for the emu and peacock writers bottles...
There were the skies that constantly changed to accommodate the birds fluttering in the winds for camouflage...
Then we finally reached the end of the road...
He turned to me and showed me his beautiful sparkling green and blue eyes...
Will you stay with me here in this land of true wonders...?
Or will you go back to your boring home of broken skies and damaged spirits...?
For I truly desire your company beside me for the rest of my wonderful journey...
However the decision is completely up to you... And I will force you to do nothing you do not wish to do...
I looked down and played with my dress fringe deciding...
I grabbed his hand and smiled while starting to pull him towards the road...
Show me the wonders we still have to make on our own...
Of course I will stay with you...
And with that he smiled and ran off with me into the inky red sunset that was this land of wonder...
