Chapter 2: The Text

He started distributing the papers, and of course the nerds were exited and happy and just took the paper eagerly then started solving it, while the losers just took the paper and bent their heads down, the Emo group started cutting themselves with the pen they were holding as for us, well I can't say I'm a straight A student, but I do well in studies.

Moving on, it became Lunch time!
Sean, Melina, Jennifer(Sean's Girlfriend), Mike(My other bestie) and I sat on one table.

Dylan and his friends were eying us from the other table.

Dylan and I broke up last week, we got into a serious fight, he called me a bitch and we were over, we became the town's main subject a week ago and I think it's still going on, but the day before yesterday he called me and apologized, and now we're just friends no more.

While I was checking the room, my eyes caught something, Joe McKenzie... the newbie.

He was seated all alone, eating his sandwich while a book was spread out wide on the table. Why is he such a loner?
I started making my way over to him and cleared my throat; his eyes darted towards me and smiled sarcastically "Yes... Mrs. Popular?"

"Well, I felt sorry for you and decided to join" I pulled out the chair, but he grabbed it and pushed it back inside "I don't mind being alone, you can go join your group"

"I'm being nice to you... don't make me turn your life upside down" I bent down facing him.

"Oh trust me, you're the one who's going down... just wait" he smirked, I didn't get what did he say, no one messes with me. I just ignored him and walked back to my friends.

The bell rang; I made my way inside the class and noticed Joe sitting at the end of the row looking outside the window deep in thought.

There was an empty seat beside him, I searched for other seats but they were taken, I scoffed loudly and threw my books on the table then slipped on the chair and waited for the teacher to come in.

"Alright Kids... we're going to discuss the Genetics open page 178, come on Hurry up!" Mrs. Wood said loudly.

The whole class groaned and pulled out the book as Mrs. Woods started reading.

Why does Joe hate me so much!! I didn't do anything to hurt him! And what did he mean? He confuses me...

"Fate..." Joe mumbled.

I turned around eying him "What?"

"Nothing..." he closed his book and excused himself to the bathroom. I noticed his cell phone vibrating his backpack... hmm, who is calling him at this time of day? Curiosity is killing me.... should I? Come on he already hates you!

My hand stretched out and reached his phone, I unlocked it... it was a message. Oooh! Who could it be? I pressed it, from Henry "Get her out of here! Now! THEY ARE COMING!"

Huh? I don't know, I placed the phone back and tried to concentrate when Joe marched in the classroom, his hair was swaying as he moved swiftly.
The shape of his fit body made me drool... SNAP OUT ASHLEY! He's just an annoying boy! Who's a loner! And receives weird messages! And doesn't like you!

He sat down and smiled at me, his smile was just as adorable as his dimples! Why does he have to be so cute!

I remembered the text, should I tell him? I think I should... it sounded kind of important.
"Hey... you got a text" I pointed at his cell.

"Okay?" he got it out and read the text, his face turned from a smile into seriousness then looked up at me with piercing eyes... I melted.

"Do you trust me?" he asked holding my palm... man his touch is so soft!

"No" I truthfully answered, I barely know you! Wow... boys are confusing!

"Well... you should, your life is about to changed from now on" he pulled out a perfume out of his bag and sprayed it on my face!

I winced, but suddenly... I felt numb. My whole body was out of my control. I slipped out of the chair and my head bumped the ground! I could feel the pain, I'm still awake! But I can't control my limbs!

I was trapped in my own body, I screamed but nobody seemed to hear me! the whole class gathered around me, and the only thing I was able to do is see them and breathe.

"I'll take her to the nurse" Joe suddenly said and held me bridle-style. It's so good to be in his arms... oh JUST LET GO OF IT ASHLEY! What did he do to me?!
