My Own - Chapter 4

We’ve been married for three months and it's the best three months, we start school soon but we’re still on break. I walk into the house and Kyle is sitting there staring and the TV which is off by the way. Today is such a good day. I found out I’m pregnant. Only two weeks but I’m pregnant. I told his grandparents already and everything and his grandma is willing to take care of the baby while I’m in class. I just have to tell him. "Hey babe." I say and he doesn’t say anything. "Hey babe." I say louder and I put the groceries on the kitchen counter. I walk over to him and sit on the coffee table in front of him. He looks at me.

"I hooked up with Kayla." He says and I just look at him. He knew that she liked him and he just kept hanging around her and he knows how much I don’t like her. "Babe talk to me." He says and I just look at him.
"What do you mean by hooked up."
"We kissed?"


"So that means you knew you weren’t kissing me." I say and stand up and start walking around. I’m pregnant and my husband cheated on me.
"Babe I’m sorry." He says and I don’t know why but it pisses me off so much.
"You're sorry, are you kidding me? We’re married, do you get what that means, together forever. You cheated on me, you cheated on this family. I can’t even look at you right now."

"We just kissed."
"How long ago was this."
"Two hours ago."
"I can’t believe you, you weren’t drunk or anything, it takes more than two hours to sober up. How could you do this to me." I say and he gets on his knees and pulls me to him and hugs me with his head on my stomach.

"I’m sorry babe I’m so sorry. It will never ever happen again." He says and kisses my stomach. If he only knew that he was kissing his child. I can’t believe him, but it was just a kiss, but he can’t keep doing this. I need to think.

"No I can’t just forget about this." I say and push him away from me. I go upstairs and close the door behind me and lie on the bed and think. I just think. I hear a knock and Kyle walks in, I sit up and look at him. He sits in front of me. "I don’t think you should stay in here tonight. I think you should stay in the guest room or something but I need some space."

"For how long?"
"Just for tonight then you can come back in here, but I have to learn to trust you again."
"Okay." He says and I don’t even want to tell him about the baby, but I have too.
"I have to talk to you tomorrow."
"Okay." He says and gets up. He leans in to kiss me, but I move my face and he kisses my cheek. He walks to the door. "I love you." He says and leaves. I grab my phone and call Jacey, we’ve become really good friends, her and Kaia are now my best friends.

"Hello."
"Can you talk?" I say to Jacey when she answers the phone.
"Yeah I’m cooking so you're on speaker."
"Is anyone there."
"Only Kaia."
"Okay that's perfect Hey Kai."
"Hey what's up?" She says, and I can hear that she’s concerned.
"He cheated on me."
"What! Yo... you need to come over now and bring an extra pair of clothes, you're sleeping over."

"Okay I’m on my way." I say and hang up. I go into the closet and put on skinny jeans and a white tank top and put a black cardigans. I put on my black moccasins. I pack some clothes and grab my keys and leave the room. I have my pills to make sure the baby is okay and I’m good. I walk downstairs and Kyle is in the living room watching TV.

"Hey, where are you going?"
"I’m going to Jacey’s for the night."
"Can we talk for a minute though?"
"Tomorrow I have to tell you something anyway."
"Than let's talk now."
"No, one I’m too mad to talk, I will a start yelling and I want to clear my head."
"Babe I love you."

"Stop doing that." I say dropping my bag.
"I get yelled at for saying I love you."
"No, you're trying to make me forget about you cheating, telling me I love you, if you loved me you won’t have done what you did."
"It was a kiss and she kissed me."
"I don’t care what she did, you are way stronger than her, you could have pushed her away."

"I got caught up in it, sorry."
"You got caught up in it." I say.
"Stop yelling at me, you keep yelling just stop." He yells and he scares me.
"I don’t even want to talk to you, you jerk." I yell and open the door. He pushes, the door closes.
"Talk to me."

"No, I’ll talk to you tomorrow when I come home." I say and leave. I get in my car and drive to Jacey’s. I get there really quick, I guess because I’m mad. I grab my stuff and run up the front stairs and ring the door bell. And in seconds the door fly open and Jacey pulls me inside and to the living. I sit down and they sit across from me and stare at me. "He cheated on me with Kayla."

"What?" Jacey says.
"Can we kill her?" Kaia says she’s... out spoken, she says whatever is on her mind..
"No we can’t kill her." Jacey says, she’s more of the nicer one of all of us.
"Why not?" I say totally joking and she looks at me like I’m crazy. "Kidding." I say.
"So what happened?" Kaia says, laughing at Jacey’s reaction to what I said.
"I got home and was like hey babe and he didn’t say anything, he was just staring at the TV then I was like Hey babe again and sat in front of him. He was like I cheated on you."

"Wow that sucks, so what are you feeling."Jacey says.
"I feel like punching Kayla in the face." I say,
"Can we please?" Kaia says and I start laughing.
"No." Jacey says,
"No like I’m just saying we pull up to her house, she opens the door and we be like pop each one of us get a hit in." Kaia says and I laugh harder. She starts acting out her plan. She’s the only one that can make me laugh when I’m this unhappy. I stop and we all calm down.

"What are you going to do?"
"He said it was only a kiss and I believe him and forgive him, but he can’t think he can do this again and he get away with it. And this time he’s not getting away with it so easy."

"What are you going to do?"
"I don’t want him to kiss me or anything more for a week or so."
"Not even a kiss really, that a little harsh." Jacey says.
"Forgetting about your wife and child and kiss another women is a little harsh too."
"Wait did you just say child, are you pregnant?" Jacey says. I smile and nod my head yes.

"Yes I am, I just found out today and then this crap happens."
"Well you said you forgive him, so that's good." Kaia says.
"I do and I love him, but he has to know that he can’t do this."
"Yeah but I don’t think not kissing is going to help, even if you don’t do anything more that's a way to show your attraction not kissing really Cha."
"Okay I get you." I say and we talk for hours and eat and talk more. I look up and it's one in the morning and I miss my hubby. I’m still a little mad, but I love him and I miss him. "Girls I can’t stay I miss him too much."

"Five bucks pay up." Jacey says and Kaia pays her. I hug them and leave the house. I get in my car and think about what I’m doing. I love him and I miss him and I’ve only been gone for five hours. Really can’t even be without him for a day. I pull off and drive to my house. He’s still here. I park and get my stuff and get out the car. I walk to the door and open it. He’s not in the living room. I go upstairs and he’s not in the bedroom. I change into pajamas which is just pajama shorts and a tank top. I pull my hair up in a bun and I start looking around to find him. I go to the guess room and he’s in there lying down. I know he’s not sleeping because he’s lying on his back and he sleeps on his stomach like me. I walk over to the bed and lie next to him on my side and he turns on his side and looks at me.

"I thought you're staying at Jacey’s."
"I was but, I missed you too much."
"So you're not mad."
"No, but I’m still disappointed with you."
"I know."
"Promise me that will never happen again."
"I promise."
"Okay, then I promise not to bring it up ever again."
"Okay."
"But if this ever happens again I don’t know what I’m going to do, but it will be really bad."

"Okay I understand I thought you were going to leave me and want to get a divorce."
"I don’t want that, I love you."
"Good. I love you too." He says and he hesitantly leans in.
"Did you brush your teeth or was your mouth after you kissed her."
"Yes." He says and he kisses me and I let him. He starts wanting to take it to the next level. I pull away.
"Nope."
"Why?"
"You know why?"
"Okay?" He says. I think I should tell him now about the baby. He needs to know.

"I have to tell you something." I say and sit up and turn on the lamp next to me.
"Yeah." He says and looks worried. He sits up and I look into his eyes, he said and we agreed that we wouldn’t have children till after college, so I’m a little scared to tell him.
"Um well I’m pregnant." I say and he looks at me. He starts smiling and I relax.
"Are you really?" He says.
"Yeah I went to the doctor today and he said so, I was a little worried because I didn’t get my period?"

"Okay how far along are you?"
"Two weeks."
"Okay, so you should go to the doctors to get those pills."
"Already done."
"I’m so excited."
"Really because I am too."
"Should we think of names."
"Yeah." He says and I lie down and he lies next to me and we look at each other.
"How about Adria?"
"I like that."
"What about Kaian."
"I like that too."
"Because then if it's a girl she will have part or you name Ky, but spelled Kai instead of Ky."

"You haven’t called me Ky in a day."
"Because I was pissed at you."
"I know, how about Cameron for a boy."
"I really like that babe."
"I do too, so Kaian for a girl and Cameron for a boy."
"Yeah, what if we have twins."
"I think we’re ready kinda I mean we’re still young."
"I know but you have to be tolerate, I’m going to cry and yell, its like my period ten times worst and for nine months."
"Okay I can deal."
