I Love You Shorty, My Lover

I wrote this poem on his myspace. I love him so much, and I need him to know that…
I don’t know what to say
I don’t know what to do
I choke on the words
"I love you"
I know I do
It is definitely true
But I can’t say them to you
So here is what I will say
In place of those 3 small words:
If you stay with me
I’ll stay with you
If you cuddle with me
I’ll cuddle with you
If you hug me
Then I’ll hug you back
Just give me a kiss
To pay me back
Our hearts
Formed as one
Our hands held together
If you stay with me
Then I’ll stay with you,
Forever
This is no joke
It’s not a game
If you love me
Then I’ll do the same
So we can pick up the slack
For the love we once did lack
And I will spit out my words
If you say you love me
Then I’ll say I love you too
Just hold me tight everyday
And those 3 small words
I can choke up and say
Because
I love you
And always will
