My Love

My love is not of what you think,
When she was,
She would hold me till I fell asleep,
I loved her with a love I have never felt before,
But now she is no more,
Her touch would send me into over drive,
Her love was warm and kind,
My heart would melt with one glance of her eye,
I knew from the moment we met our relationship was not a lie,
But like everything one day it had to die,
She thought I was with another girl,
But I wasn’t I only wanted her by my side,
So this is how my story ends,
With me being lonely again and again,
Though I still love her,
I fear she does not feel the same,
I can still feel her beside me calling my name,
My love once real now just a memory that drives me insane.
