My Life Turned Upside Down

When I turned my life upside down
I think to myself
Was anything I did worth losing my
Mind over
I let myself mind and body slip
Away from where I was at the start
Knowing the danger I put my life through
It only lead me to a love
That I finally found

Realizing the things we did and what we said
I guess were only true
As we kept up our old ways and did what we did
We would soon realize who we're hurting
Deep inside
I never knew a summer love could last
Your my first love and my last
We've seen and been with each other at our lowest point
Not knowing what would happen after that
We've made far from past thoughts nights
And really I could only thank one guy
