My Life is a Remote

I wrote this like a year ago in my 10th grade English class.

My life is a remote
I hit the floor so hard I tape my batters back in.
People just use me and put me aside when their done.
I always seem to get lost
My buttons are always getting pushed and I can't do much about it.
I'm changing the channel every time I turn around. Some people just get mad when my rewind button doesn't work.
My life is a remote
