Whew. I'm extremely tired. This weekend we had a retreat for my youth group and we stayed busy but it was a lot more fun than I expected. Have you ever like... OK you know someone but not like hey your my bffe so then when you see that person again how do you react? Like hey! All enthusiastically or just like hi I know you.... whatev hahaha.
OK yay I got my john Mayer tickets! So excited for Friday!
OK if I didn't say this already, I can be shy and most of the time when I get little crushes they are on guys who like I don't even really talk to. But in 8th grade I had this Guy friend who recently just moved away actually and I fell for him. He is tall, blonde hair, hilarious, and an overall great Guy. Well-being the shy girl I am, I asked my friend to text him and ask him to the 8th grade prom for me. He said yes and I was totally excited.
I didn't like waiting for the Guy to ask me I guess hahaha
anyway, one night we went to the movies together with my best friend because I was so nervous but she was late. So me and Guy when to get popcorn and he offered to pay and was a gentleman. I don't even remember what the move was about I was soooooo nervous hahaha.
Oh and I remember one day in like science class we sat in the back together on a movie day and I just thought I was so Cool. You have to remember he was like my first date haha.
On the day of the prom, me and a friend went and got our hair done and then were going to meet him to go eat. I turns out we got there first a got a table. He shows up with his mom, dad, and sister and so we moved and sat with them. I mean like really, was his grandmother out of town or something haha. I guess it wasn't all that bad but at the dance, of course when we went to dance the song ended and a slow song came on. It wasn't until this point I remembered I don't know how to dance. I mean like oh crap.
So he like goes one way and me another and then at the same time we're like I can't dance haha. So we awkwardly just stand there and look around. After that one everything was cool.
Our 8th grade class went to an amusement park and the whole day he hung out with my best friend but I went with other friends.
For a while after that, evidently they stared talking and then she dated him like once that doesn't even really count it was just the fact she didn't tell me.
But she does that every time I like a Guy. I tell her and then she's like well I like him. That happened this summer and she didn't tell me and things are still weird between us.
Anyway, Guy moved away recently he texted me one night "moving away has made me realize my feelings for you"
The sad thing is I do kinda still like him but he's in another state. What wonderful timing he has... *rolls eyes* if it hadn't been for my friend 'taking' him I think I would've told him how I felt...
On the retreat this weekend, a lot happened...would write more but about to fall asleep...
