All day and night my mind wander
I try to focus but it's in vain
I can't close my eyes any longer
My heart's in so much pain

I said it was a dream
I woke and you were truly gone
I just wanted to scream
Like a baby newly born

All I have are sweet memories
Of U n I our love so fine
I'll be haunted for centuries
The fault is mine and not thine

Remember we used to hold hands
Strolling in the night, in the cold winter
If I had a second chance
I will hold you so dear, and so tender

I'm sorry for all the heartaches
I thought I could have you both
Now with these awful headaches
My deeds I now loathe

I had you in my arms
And chased after the wind
I returned with empty palms
Stained with indelible sin

What is there to live for now
All I have is nothing but chaff
After breaking the sacred vow
I've lost more than a better half

Where will I find someone like you
I know its too darn late
One who's so sweet and true
