My Imagination

Your fingers were between mine,
Your lips were between mine,
Your heart was wrapped around mine,
Your eyes were latched within mine.
They were so pure,
So filled with passion;
I had you in front of me,
Like I do everyday
But still I can't just tell you how I feel,
How this has been,
And still is eating me up inside.
That night was just a dream,
An illusion in my heart,
Just a figment of my imagination,
Of my deepest sorrows,
Of my deepest desires.
Now we're back to reality,
And I couldn't be more crushed.
