My Imagination

All I wanted was him…
I asked you out
You said maybe
You didn’t know
How much I liked you
To give me your answer
You called me up
Said you’d never go
Out with a slut like me.
I started to cry.
You were the only reason
Y held on for as long as I did
Now I know that all I
Have held on to
Was only part of my imagination.
Now I know
That no one will miss me
When I’m gone.
