Chapter 11 - Trapped
I rushed right in, to warned the guards don’t let Amabel in. Shit! She was already in there. I went through the window and crashed it with my heel... They all looked at me. "You're here?" Amabel said angrily. Then she revised her sentence. "I-I mean you're here. Now sit down." She looked at me angrily. "Stop!" I said they all looked at me. "Xander, I know we fight all the time since that ‘Veronica’ came. But please! Don’t fall for her! She’ll trick you!" I said begging to him. He stood up and then he hugged me. "Why would I fall for her? You’re the one for me Cynthia." He said a tear fell down my eye. "He wiped it by his kiss. "Your diamonds are mine. So don’t waste them." He said then I hugged him back. I can tell that Amabel is very angry from what I did. "I can’t let you spoil my plans you, witch! And one of my powers are making people fall in love with me if I kiss them deeply!" She rushed to Xander and he kissed her. I screamed. I can’t believe this. He even kissed her back. I pulled Xander back. He shoved my hands. Fiona and Edmund just looked at us in surprise. I went to Amabel and slapped her.
Xander used his power to control my hands. I can’t believe this! I think he can only use objects! He put my hands behind my back then Amabel tied it up. Fiona and Edmund started to attack them but even their power was too weak for Xander. Edmund tried everything. But they still couldn't. Xander trapped them in the villain lair, where the escaped villain placed. Xander went without me. They rode the bike together with Amabel. It was all up to me to save the day. I bet they are going to the captain’s hideout. I tried budging the bars. But they can’t, Fiona and Edmund are trapped. And Xander took the keys with him.
"Why don’t you try your super strength Edmund?" I shouted at him. He tried his best. But those bars were created for super strength. Even Edmund can’t break it. "I can’t! It’s too hard." He said. "Shit! I guess it’s all up to me!" I said. "Good luck, Cynthia!" Fiona shouted at me. I can’t even break this string in my hand. "Wait! The broken glass! I can use it to untie me!" I said excitedly. "Wait! No Cynthia! You’ll get wounded!" Fiona said. "I have to! It’s the only way for us to be saved!" I demanded. "Okay! Careful, Cynthia!" Edmund shouted at me. I nodded. I turned back and put my hands in the glass. I moved it back and forth so that it will be cut. Guess what! It did. But I did earned a wound. "Gotta go Fi!" I said then I flew up to the sky. My wrists hurt so badly.

Chapter 12 - Mind Control
When I got to captain’s hideout. They were there. And Xander’s eyes were black! His eyes are not black! They are brown. "Give up Amabel! We got you surrounded!" I said to her. "By who? By you and Captain? Oh! Save me! I’m scared!" She laughed.
I searched the place. That bushy man with a tinge of brown hair caught my attention. IT was dad! MY dad was our captain? "Dad!?" I screamed! "Don’t come near honey!" He shouted back. "No, I must save our organization!" I know I must do it. Even though my wrists are wounded. I have to! "You can’t honey! You have wounds on your wrist!" He shouted. "How pathetic! Xander! Take her out. Permanently." She said grudgingly. Xander stood up and went to me. The first step. He was so serious. I've never seen him like this before. He’s in pain. "I’ll get you!" Xander said reaching for me. "Xander, you don’t wanna do this!" I said to him backing away slowly. He keeps on charging to me. "I must listen to mistress!" He said. He was like a zombie. ‘you’re like a zombie. Oh, sorry. I forgot! You’re being mind controlled!’ I started backing away faster. He walked much faster. He ran. I ran. I tripped and I fell down. He took my leg then he started pulling me. Ouch! Did my ankle break? It hurts! Ouch! "Hey, hey, Xander!" He wasn’t listening.
"Desperate time calls for desperate measures!" I gathered all the possible strength and kicked him in the face then he groaned of pain. I stood up and ran, I ran towards the window. Well… I actually leaped to the window. Because I broke my ankle. There he was inches away from me and I was in so much pain. "You don’t wanna do this Xander, remember who you love!" While I was busy with my problem, Amabel took dad to her hideout. I didn’t notice that Xander was very, very close to me. "Xander, Xander. Remember? You love me." I said, tears are overflowing in my eyes. His eyes were changing color. He was fighting the order of Amabel. "Cynthia? Aargh!" He said. "Xander!" I shouted. His eyes were brown, then black, then brown. His eyes were black. "I must listen to mistress. I love her. Not you!" He said coming closer to, while I was getting closer to the window. I can’t fly great! "No, she doesn’t love you! She was just using you!" I said. He got angry. He ran towards me. I climbed up the window and fell down. God! I'm so stupid! "Xander! I can’t fly!" I fell down the window. "Cynthia!" He finally broke it! He rushed to the bottom while I was screaming for my death. I touched the ground roughly. I don’t know who groaned, the ground or me. This is it. I’m finally dead. Goodbye world!
Well, at least I get to hear Xander's voice saying softly behind me. Xander was saying my name. I can’t open my eyes. Maybe it’s an angel. "Oh, dear angel. Am I in heaven now?" I asked the angel. Not opening my eyes. "No, but you are in the arms of an angel" He said. Weird I was expecting my angel to be a girl but it’s a boy. "Cynthia!" Wait! I recognize that voice anywhere. He was shaking me. Finally I opened my eyes. I was shocked to see who it was. "Xander?" I asked. A tear fell in his eyes it landed on my neck. Then he hugged me. I hugged him back. "Are you okay, baby?" He asked me. "Yes, a sprained ankle. Awe!" I complained. "I’m so sorry baby; I was in the order of Veronica." He said.
"She’s not Veronica. She was my camping friend. She was jealous of me. She was Amabel." I said. Then he let me sit down. "Oh... Now c’mon let’s take you to the hospital." He said helping me up. "No, we can’t, we have to save dad first!" I said. "Dad? You mean the captain’s your dad?" He asked confused. "Yeah, and we must not forget about Fiona and Edmund." I corrected him. "Oh right. Where are they?" He asked lifting me up. He piggy backed me. Then he ran to the headquarters. "To the headquarters. They're in the Villain Lair." I said trying to catch my breath. "Here’s a good one. Why don’t you stop talking for now. You seem exhausted." He said. "I am exhausted." Then I laid my head in his shoulder. I said trying to catch my breath. I sighed. "You can sleep if you want." He offered. "No," I said. "Okay" he said. "You know something?" I asked him.

"I missed you." I admitted to him. He kept quiet. "It really hurts my heart when I saw you two hanging out. It was like hell. You didn’t know how much I suffered." He let me down. Then he looked into my eyes. Then he hugged me tightly. "I Am Really, Really Sorry. I really regret for letting her in, in my life. I can’t believe I let her sweet talk for a date. I Am Really, Really Sorry." He said. A tear fell in my eyes. Before he can say anything. I said it to him first. I wiped my own tear. "Hey, Don't cry." I said. Smiling at him. Then he smiled at me. Then we rushed to the HQ.
