My Goodness

There is so many ways you have hurt me.
Oh my goodness,
What have done to me,
Got me spinning in circles,
Until I can't breathe,
And please cast a look,
Onto what you made me,
All the hard work and lies,
That you put in late at night,
I hope you see,
You see I know it's been awhile,
And when I saw you last week,
You greeted me like old friends,
But I could see through it.

So try to deny,
Everything you said was truth,
Oh please I'm begging you,
So that I could put you on your feet,
Show you every single time,
Every single moment,
Where you cut me to size,
Then you left me to die,
Die from this heartache.

You confessed in a way,
That you had a smile on your face,
That you only date,
What you know everyone wants,
You try to come clean,
Even reminiscing,
About old times with me,
Don't even try,
To work yourself back into my life.

I felt your cold stare linger,
Waiting for me to speak,
But I have no words for a girl,
Who didn't care who she made weep,
So try to deny,
Everything you said was truth,
Oh please I'm begging you,
So that I could put you on your feet,
Show you every single time,
Every single moment,
Where you cut me to size,
Then you left me to die,
Die from this heartache.

I'll walk away from this some day,
Walk as far as I can go,
Because as long as there's no you,
Then I feel complete.

You can cut me down to size,
And you can leave me to die,
But I can always try,
To bandage where I bleed,
And get back to me,
So try to deny,
All of your lies,
And try to put me to sleep,
Because I know the truth,
About you,
And how your words cut deep.
