My Golden Adventure 7
I've just cut the title short, enjoy.
(Alex)
After being rescued by someone, I am now sitting at Scoutmaster John’s office with her wife and our camp nurse, Joeanne. I have a towel covering around me. I’m still freezing about the river’s coldness. John began to spoke;
"What happened to her?" said John, his voice thunders down to my heart.
I can’t speak because of the trauma I had, the dark scene when Fairrah slipped away from my hand.
"What happened to her?" John repeated once more.
"S-Sir—"The words won’t come out. I ran to tears.
John sighed, Mrs. Joeanne came near me and gripped my shoulder, "It’s all going to be alright."
"Alright?" spat John, "Joeanne, we made a promise to Fairrah’s parents that she is our responsibility! How can you tell that everything’s alright?" Every word was getting louder and louder, he was in rage.
"John, I know how big our responsibility towards Fairrah, but---" John interrupted her.
"Alex, hit the cabins!" he ordered.
I stood, "Yes, sir!".
"Alex, wait!" said Mrs. Joeanne, I ignored it.
I went to the door and closed it. Tears still fell down my face, I headed for my cabin.
(Fairrah)
I woke up.
Where the hell am I? My thoughts said.
Around me were brownish-white sands, an ocean on my left and a forest on my right.Luckily, I know the whole place. I’m on this beach, which means a valley is in between this beach and the camp is just across sitting on the hill. If John’s truck could take me from the camp to here, it would take me at least two hours, no stops. By bike, a day and a half or more. By walking….
I did the math on the sand, at least two days….
My stomach grumbled…
An apple tree dead ahead….
Wait, how can it grow on sand?
I’m hungry as a beast, nothing gonna stop me this time…
As I eat the apple, my world fell in complete darkness….
But, in a good way….
Zzzzz.....
