My First Love-Sunny

I met 'Jess" in 1978. He was my first Love at age 14 in Renton, WA by the River. I never knew he was Kurt Cobain until this year. I'm a DV survivor.
It's been a Long
Long Time-

But I still miss you.

The past I can't rewind-
but at least I know the truth.

We spent years apart-
It doesn't stop the pain.

We walked hand in hand,
made love in the rain.

I was searching in vain
for someone in my youth.

Depression made me blind.
Somehow I lost you.
I look up to the Sunshine.
It's so good to talk to you.
