My Fantastic New Invention

My Fantastic New Invention
Like most people these days, when I'm walking a distance of more than a few feet, carrying things becomes quite a terrible chore. In fact, I downright despise it. There's nothing worse than having to walk from my desk, up a flight of stairs to my destination, carrying a stack of books, or some office supplies, or a box of old computer equipment. I was tired of having to deal with this nonsense so I came up with a genius invention while working in my shop (my closet) the other day.

First, I took an old burlap sack, much like the ones once used to hold potatoes in the days of yore. I re-enforced it with duct tape on the bottom and around the rim. Then I tore the two front seatbelts out of my car, cut them to size, and attached them to the burlap sack at the top and bottom of the sack about shoulder-width apart. I used yarn to fasten the straps nice and tight to the bag. Then I tested my finished product.. I slid five heavy encyclopedias that I had taken from the local library into the bag, slipped the two straps over my shoulders so the sack hung against my back and walked around a bit. It was quite convenient and comfortable. Far easier than walking around carrying things with my hands or arms. I call it, "The Spine-Pouch".

I am baffled by why no one has come up with anything like this before. The Spine-Pouch is such a simple concept and could become so useful in today's twenty first century world. I am confident that once I introduce the Spine-Pouch to the right people, they will gladly pay me unimaginable amounts of money to manufacture and sell it. My days as a low-paid security guard may be numbered.
