My Everything That Sparkles

This poem is for my daughter…
Like a diamond, you light up the room
Like a dove flying, you give me my wings
You are so small, so fragile, so unique
You are a rose in a dying pond
You are the sunlight in my life
The water for a tree,
The air in my lunges
My dear Rylee you are
My everything that sparkles
