My Dream Guy - One

Willow just moved to town with her three brothers and her father. And meets the guy of her dreams.....
This is pretty much what I want Willow to look like, she's got a different haircut thought... I'll try to find a better picture.
p.s. I did NOT draw this... google images is a lifesaver... so I take no credit for this drawing, though it is amazing!

Chapter one

(Willow's POV)

"Okay class, Mr. Potter, this is" taking a glance down at the slip of paper I just handed her, she says "Willow Sanders. It's her first day, if you haven't already guessed, I expect you to make her feel welcome." The principal of Westwood High takes a look at me and in a quieter voice says "enjoy your first day." And turns out the door with a smile. I look at my teacher, he's a man somewhere in his forties, balding slightly and growing a small gut, but he appears to be exactly what I imagined my new history teacher to look like. "Willow did she say? That's interesting. Would you care to tell us about yourself?" I could see it in his eyes, he was begging me to brighten up their gloomy day.

Let me take a moment to describe Westwood. It's a small town, not much bigger than the Mall of America, but I'm pretty sure there were more people at the mall. Now, I may be exaggerating a little bit, but hey, it's weird moving to such a small town after living in Minneapolis for your entire life. Anyway, back to school...

"Well, as she said, I'm Willow. And I'm not named after the dwarf from the movie, if you haven't seen it, you have no idea what I just referenced, but if you have, then you just realized how lame my jokes are. Um, I love photography. I have three brothers, one twin. I just moved here with my family from Minneapolis. English is my favorite subject. And last but not least, when I feel put on the spot I ramble, so I'll just go sit down now." I exclaimed all of this in less than five seconds. I started blushing and almost unconsciously made my way to the only open desk I could see.

Sitting down, I took a deep breath and put my head in my hands. I was releasing it when I heard a whisper to my left side. "So you're new here huh?" I was about to look over at him and give him one of those faces that just screamed 'hello, did you not hear a thing that was just said?' but as soon as I turned my head I was at a loss for words. In front of me was by far, one of the most incredible specimens alive. Dark brown hair that lightly curved out at the ends, baby blue eyes that practically yelled 'Look at me, I'm hypnotizing!' his lips were flushed a light pink color and looked so soft I caught myself thinking about toughing them. I looked back into his eyes and noticed that his calm face had changed into a cocky grin which, although it annoyed me, left me thinking how hot it was.

I decided to just do a half smile (the kind where it's not really a smile at all, but more like the muscles in one cheek decided to work and the other didn't. Almost like when you're reassuring somebody and know that smiling would be a HUGE mistake, but you want them to be comforted). I turned my face back to the front of the room and did my best to pay attention, that is, if my best is not paying attention at all and being completely and totally focused on the guy of my dreams who was sitting practically two feet away.

(Blake's POV)

I'm almost positive that if Mr. Potter teaches one more lesson on the cold war and how nothing happened, then I'm pretty sure I'll spontaneously combust. I've never been more bored than I am at the moment. I'm flicking paper footballs my best friend (Erik)'s back when he suddenly turns around and tells me to look up at the front. Before my eyes is God's gift to Earth. Seriously, this girl looked like an angel. The sun was shining through the window onto her dark golden hair. Her brown eyes looked so deep that I felt I could gaze into them for hours. She was biting her bottom lip in such an enticing way that I wanted her to do it to me. Then she spoke... My heart literally fluttered. Shit, did I just think that? my heart fluttered? what is wrong with me? But yeah, she spoke and it was like honey. like honey? I haven't even talked to this girl yet and already I'm whipped.

I was so lost in my own world that I had hardly noticed that the only seat left for her to take was right next to me. I watched her walk to her desk and put her head in her hands and sigh. I talked without thinking. "So you're new here huh?" what? 'obviously she's new here dumbass' I silently chided myself. I completely expected her to look at me like I was the most incompetent being on earth, instead, she turned her head and froze. At first I was worried, but then I noticed the slight movement in her eyes as she took in my hair, eyes and lips, then my eyes again. I was grinning now because up close, her eyes looked so deep I just wanted to stare at them for the rest of my life.

I expected her to make some comment. Something like 'yeah, I'm new.' Or 'what made you think that', instead I just got this little lift of her lip, like she was comforting me or something. What was that? I wondered to myself as she turned back to the front. Maybe I was just imagining the attraction. But then why was she looking at me like that? Was it just me, or is her hand blocking her eyes from looking at me?

Suddenly it hit me. 'Ah, she's shy.' That must be it. I mean, she's new in school and having a popular guy like myself talk to her must be new. I should just give her a day to warm up to me. That will do it. Tomorrow I'll say hi to her and she'll be more comfortable. With that plan in mind, I heard the bell ring and went on to my next class.

(Willow's POV)

It's 2:17 and I have to be to my brothers' school in fifteen minutes. Of course it's on the other side of town and of course I got out of school after the rush, so I'm currently sitting in a mini traffic jam in my school's parking lot. Finally getting out of the lot, I weave my way thought the streets in this new town of Westwood Colorado. It's so different from home, or I guess it's what used to be home now. I arrive at the kids school just in time to get them. I park the car and walk inside. They're waiting in the office like we agreed on this morning. "Hey guys, how was your first day?" River, my eight year old brother pipes right in with "Oh it was so great Low" my nickname since when he was little, he couldn't pronounce Willow. "I met this really cool kid named Carson, oh man, he's got the best scooter ever. At Recess, we got to go outside, and guess what?" not waiting for me to answer, he continues without a breath "HE LET ME RIDE IT!" he exclaims. I laugh and shake my head.

I notice the little grip on my left hand getting tighter and tighter as we make our way towards the doors of the school. I look down at Sky, who's the cutest 5 year old brother you could ask for. He's a little small for his age, because he was a preemie by about three months. We were so sure we had lost him, but he's a fighter, our little miracle. "What's up buddy?" I ask him as I crouch down in front of him. He immediately throws his arms around me and starts sobbing. I'm shocked for a second but quickly hold him tight and pick him up. I walk over to a bench nearby and sit with him huddled in my lap. River comes and sits by us. His face is alarmed and he's unsure what to do, so he softly rubs Sky's arm and quietly says "hey, um, it's" he pauses in his words, unsure of what to say "it's okay, I'm here for you. Did some bully pick on you Sky?" he asks, quickly becoming the protective brother he's always been over Sky. Sky just shakes his head and hugs me closer while burying his head deeper into my hair and neck.

After about five minutes of my brother crying in my lap, I softly pull him away so I can look at him while I talk. "Sky, sweetie, you need to tell me what's wrong, I can't help you if you don't talk to me baby." I try to explain to him. He's never acted like this before. He gives a slight look towards River, signaling to me that he'll tell me, but not in front of River. This is new. Usually he wants to do everything with his older brothers, this time, he's shy. River sees it, but surprisingly, doesn't fight it. He looks around and says "Willow, can I go play with Carson? He's right over there." He points to a little boy with dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. I nod and tell him to stay where I'll be able to see him. He nods and goes off to join his friend.

I look at Sky, who at this point is still on my lap. "Can you tell me now Sky?" I ask softly. He nods a little bit and just before he starts talking, his lip trembles and I prepare myself for the worst. "I miss home. These kids are different. I miss Billy and Jake. I wanna go home Low. But I can't tell River cause he'll think I'm a baby. But I'm not. I'm not a baby. I'm a big kid." He desperately tries to explain to me. I get teary listening to him talk. Billy and Jake were Sky's imaginary/ best friends. Who, when we moved here seven days ago and realized, didn't move with us from the old house. There was no convincing Sky that they came, he just knew better. His friends were part of the house, and we left. And, being the youngest by at least three years, he was considered the baby. He hated it the most when River treated him like the little guy he truly was. River is like Sky's hero, he wants respect.

"Sky, look at me honey." I tilt his head up to face me. "I have a surprise for you." When I realized that Jake and Billy had not moved with us and were impossible to "send for", I took matters into my own hands. I used my left hand and made a fake letter. Yes, I agree, maybe it wasn't the best decision to make, but I kinda saw this coming. I reached into the bag I had brought with me into the school and took out a little envelope. "This came for you yesterday." His eyes lit up. He doesn't get mail very often. "Do you want me to read it to you?" I asked. He nodded his head with a little smile on his face.

Dear Sky,

Hey it's us, Jake and Billy, we sure do miss you in this house, but we decided that we should tell you a secret about the house you live in. Okay, are you ready? Max lives in your house. Have you met him yet? Oh, he's so cool. He says the silliest things sometimes. If you haven't met him yet, I promise you he'll be in your play room today when you get home from school. We miss you, but hope you have fun with Max.

Jake and Billy.

He took the paper from my hands and looked it over. By now his smile was HUGE. "I haven't met Max yet. I hope he's nice like Jake and Billy. Oh and willow, don't tell River. I don't want him to think I'm a big crybaby." He looked a little shy towards the end. "I have no idea why you cried." I replied with a wink and a smile.
I looked up to find River standing with the little boy I had watched him walk to and to my utter surprise, the guy I had been drooling over today during history. I stood us up and walked over to them.
Sky was still holding my hand, but this time he was practically skipping he was so excited. "Hey River, who's your new friend?" I asked once we reached them.

"This is Carson. He's the boy with the super amazing scooter I rode today at recess. Remember Willow? I told you about it." He gave me a look that said 'duh'. I raised my eyebrows with that look that said 'do that again and you'll be grounded from Spongebob tonight' but responded sarcastically with "Silly me."

I looked up at my dream guy, who I could now tell you stood a very sexy height of 6'2 or 6'3. A very good match to my 5'9. "Hi, you're in my History class, right?" I asked. He didn't respond for a moment, in his own world I guess. "Uh, yeah, I'm Blake, Carson's big bro." he responded ruffling Carson's hair. "Willow, their older sister." I gestured to Sky and River.

By this point, Sky was ready to get home. "Willow" he whined. "I wanna go meet Max." He said, so excited he was practically doing the pee pee dance.

"Who..." I cut River off mid sentence, he was about to ask about Max.

"You've met Max, haven't you River? Billy and Jake just sent Sky a letter telling him about how great he was and that he would be in the play room. That's where you met him this morning, wasn't it?" I asked, my voice hinting excessively that Max was another imaginary friend for Sky. Thankfully River took the bait.

"Oh yeah, Max is the coolest. Let's go meet him." He said rubbing Sky's shoulder in a reassuring gesture.

"well, we've got to go. It was nice to meet you Carson." I smiled at the boy. I looked up at his gorgeous brother. "Blake." I smiled and did a tilt of my hand.
