My Dear Waren - Prologue
I got tired of the old one already...plz read and comment, thanks:)
...In my world things are very ordered. When we are young the kids are separated by gender. The girls are moved to a village miles away so that they may learn how to be a good mate and house keep. The boys stay in the main village to learn to fight and other types of...necessities required to keep the village prosperous.
Until we have have grown to the age of 18 we are not allowed to see anyone of the other gender besides our elders, or ones who have already claimed a mate.
This is the way of my people, the Felines. It has kept our village safe and full for many centuries and will continue to do so for many years. I will see to it that it does. For I am the son of the alph male of this village and will one day rule it. Two years to be exact.
"Waren!!" I hear someone shout interrupting me from by daydreams.
I turn quickly for it sounded as though it was someone in distress. Just then one of my father's men runs to me.
"What is it Jacen?" I ask.
"Your father needs your help. Some sort of man claiming he is a witch doctor has invaded the village threatening to curse us all if we do not supply him with our gold." he said
I chuckle, "We'll take care of him quickly and still be home for supper."
Jacen grins now reassured, oh but how wrong I was...
