My Dear Waren - Part 2

Please read and comment. I really want to see if this story is any good... if you have any ?s just ask:))
I softly tap my pencil against the desk. God I hate school, I thought. I let my mind wander into random thought in order to pass the time.
"Whitney," I heard someone say, making me jump.
"Yes, Mrs. Wing?" I ask.
"The bell has rung. You may leave now."
Surprised I look around the room and sure enough mostly everyone had left.
"Oh ok....thanks." All day the only thing I've wanted to do is leave and I don't even hear the bell ring. Is that irony? I shrug and start to gather my things. Once I get to the door Walker, my best friend since practically infancy, runs up to me.
"Hey, I thought you would have been the first one out of there. What took you?" he asked
"I didn't hear the bell." I say tossing him a guilty smile. He shakes his head.
"Isn't that irony?" He stops looking at me to fix his hair as a group of loud chatty girls pass by.
I laugh. "Maybe,"

When we enter the school parking lot I wave goodbye to Walker as I go to my car. Reaching for the handle I suddenly get this overwhelming weird feeling in my stomach so I hesitate. A little freaked out I check the backseat through the windows. Nothing suspicious just some extra clothes left in there for after my volleyball practices.
I look around but I don't see any creepy old guys in a long black coat and hat and no mysterious white vanes.
"Then what is it?" I inquired out loud then blushed when a guy walking stared at me for talking to myself.
Turning back to the car, I slowly opened the door and even more slowly turned it on and drove home. I'm not taking any chances just in case this is some type of death feeling. When I finally get home I see that my mom is waiting for me on the porch.
"Where have you been?" she sternly asks when I walk up to meet her. "You should have gotten home way before now it's almost dark now."

"I just took my time getting home today that's all" I don't meet her eyes right away, she can always tell when I'm lying and when I do, she gives me a look. I sigh.
"Everything's ok mom, I promise."
She looks unconvinced but doesn't say anything else. Her eyes, on the other hand, were anything but silent.
I try to hurry past her to duck more questions but she blocks my way.
"Your father left his tools out there," she nods her head towards our woods. Our house is somewhat out of town so we're surrounded by trees. "He was building a tree house for your sister and he has to fix the faucet when he gets home so he'll need those tools, could you get them honey?" she asks but I knew it wasn't really a question. Now it was my turn to give a look.
"You want me to go into the woods, AT NIGHT, to get dangerous power tools?" I ask incredulously.

She rolls her eyes, "Don't overreact it's not even that dark yet. You better hurry up though dinner's in an hour." She turns and walks into the house leaving me standing there.
I groan and turn to stomp into the woods. After 30 minutes I was tired, starving, and irritated as hell.
"If mom wants these stupid tools so bad she can come out here and get them herself." I mutter. When did this talking to myself thing started happening?
Plus I was still having that strange feeling in the pit of my stomach, add that to being in the woods alone-at night!-and you could say I was starting to get a little freaked. Just then I see an outline not too far out into the distance and knew it to be the tree house. My whole body relaxes in relief. FINALLY!!! I rush and within a minute or so I was looking up into a sky blue slightly lopsided tree house.

Even though I wanted nothing more than to grab the tools leave and dig into the meatloaf I could swear I was smelling from the house I took a moment to admire my dad's handy work. The house wasn't anything special but you could tell that my dad put a lot of effort into it. It had a single window in the front that probably had a view of a great portion of the forest. It was about halfway up the tree and you entered from the bottom like any other tree house.
I have no idea why he even made this for Lucy she not into this kind of thing at all. She a complete girly girl e.i no dirt, no bugs, and definitely no tree climbing. The girl won't even look at the woods. Only 6 years old and already has the priss (and bitch) of a teenager. Though I had to hand it to him, it wasn't great but it had a certain...homeliness type thing to it.

Like an alarm clock my growling stomach snapped me out of my thoughts and I sighed and began to look for the toolbox. I spot it in the shadows right under the tree. I walk over and bend to retrieve it....and that's when I heard it.
A low growl somewhere behind me reverberated through the silent forest and ran through my blood like ice water. Oh GOD, I didn't even think we had wolves down here! I learned from TV that you should never run in these types of situations but my mind was screaming frantically to bolt like a maniac. Pushing those thought down I forced myself to slowly turn around to face the creature because I also learned it's never a good idea to have your back towards them, plus the idea of getting mold without at least knowing that it's coming, isn't very appealing to me.

Whatever it was continued to growl and...OH GOD IT WAS GETTING CLOSER!!! My heart jump started, my whole body shook violently and my head had so much blood in it I think it'll start coming out my ears. I was almost facing the opposite direction-how I was still able to move I have no idea-when I was suddenly push, HARD, forcing my back against the tree. How could a wolf do that?

My breath rushed out of me and my vision was blurry from my head spinning so fast. I saw something, or someone, practically flash in front of me and pin me to the tree with a hand on my throat that wasn't tight enough to choke, but enough to hurt. I whimper and clutch at the hand that was surely about to take my life. The person drew their head close to my ear.

"Where is Tay?" he, based on the very deep musical voice I'm assuming it's a guy, whispers menacingly.
I blink rapidly trying to quickly clear my sight. Tay? What in the world is this guy talking about?
"I don't"
"Do not lie to me I know you are with him! Tell me where he has taken me or you will die along with him!" He tightens his grip on my neck and I suck in what little air I was able to get.

I could see more clearly now and since he had pulled back I could see his face. He looked to be a few years older than me. He had short black hair that was shaggy but shiny a sleek. His skin was kind of dark, like he was maybe Greek. I got the courage-or it might just be because of the lack of air-to look into his eyes...they bright yellow and narrow..like cat eyes. Just then I start to cry hysterically my voice raspy and in short gasps because of the hold he had on my neck. He said something but I couldn't hear him over the sound of my heart beating loud and quickly.

His next words were louder so I caught a few, "YOU...IDIOTIC...F*CKING....STOP...GIRL....DAMN IT!!!" He lets go of me and I fall to the ground. I curl into a ball and breathe in short quick gulps of air. I hear him mutter something under his breath. Everything around me was going dark and fuzzy.

He stands over me and I turn my head weakly to look at him.
"Who are you?" I ask in barely a whisper. He grins arrogantly down at me.
"Waren, Prince of the Felines." he stated proudly.
Then, I passed out.
