My Cold Prince - Chapter 18

*Kaname's POV*

The plane finally landed at the Tokyo International Airport. We all waited for a moment and Marissa pressed a green button on the side. The floor opened up and stairs appeared beneath us. Cool. I closed my eyes and let myself enter Will's mind. Again.

"Your hair sort of freaks me out Jessica," Will said on the bed. Jessica was lying next to him and said to Will, "Change it to light green. Yes. Light green." Will snapped his fingers and Jessica's hair color changed. Will stood up and said, "Why don't we go swim?" Jessica laughed and nodded and went into the bathroom to go change. Will tripped and accidentally opened the door, and Jessica screamed at Will that he was a pervert. I drew myself out of Will's mind, thinking, Will is a pervert.

"Welcome to one of our safe house. Oh, and meet two of our recent recruits, both Dragon Shadows Clan of course, Yin and Yang," Marissa said, turning on the lights and I saw a girl with grayish silver hair and a boy with purple hair.

"They're both 17. Well, Yin is actually Yang's step sister. They're not Chinese." Marissa said and I nodded. Yin is the girl. Yang, the boy.

"I'm Kaname. Nice to see you," I said and Yang ignored me. I looked at Yin again and she had a purple glow. A Soulless Mannequin.

A Soulless Mannequin are mannequins with no souls, as you know. No one knows how they were even created in the first place, but all we know is that when they're created, they're given just a bit of specter power. They can talk and eat but they don't really do anything. They're also very quiet. They rarely eat though which I found a bit strange. OH! And they just do what you want them to do. But there are rumors that one day, these Soulless Mannequins would evolve. They would soon start to become Guardians like us. Well those are rumors and rumors are rumors indeed. Unless... it could be true.

Yang as a brown glow. A Shadoth. Fully emotionless. Some Shadow Guardians become Shadoth. They're emotionless, they don't care about others, and they only want to save themselves. For example, let's say that... this father is with his wife he used to love so much when he was a normal person. When he became a Shadoth, he didn't love her anymore. This assassin comes in and tries to kill them both. The assassin points the gun at the wife and do you think that the husband would throw himself in front of her? No. Because he's a Shadoth. He simply watched her get killed and didn't feel any regret. They don't care about killing too. Some Shadoth love to kill. People who turn into Shadoth are usually turned against will or just because they simply gave up life or that they just wanted to become one. Becoming a Shadoth gives you special powers. One special power. Apparently, Yang seems to have the power of turning invisible. That's the only power he could have.

"Yin, why don't you go hang out with Kaname? I have to talk to... Yang with some... matters," Marissa said and I opened the door. Yin followed me quietly and I walked towards a nearby restaurant. Of course, I created an illusion so that it would seemed like me and Yin went through all the security.

"Are you hungry Yin?" I asked and Yin nodded. I held on to the left hand and Yin quietly followed me inside the restaurant.

"Table for two madame and sir?" The waiter said and I nodded.

"This way then madame and sir," the waiter said and showed us a table near the window. Yin sat across me and I picked up the menu. The waiter stood next to us, and I started picking all these food. I probably picked about 18 different types of food and Yin picked only 2. OK I admit, I ordered the whole menu. I have a huge appetite. I eat a lot but I'm not fat. The waiter blinked twice and bowed, leaving me and Yin alone.

"Yin. Are you feeling alright? You look a bit pale," I said worriedly and Yin looked at me with those lost looking eyes. I pushed my glass of water to her and said, "Here. Drink some water." She drank a bit of water and pushed her glass of water to me.

"You should drink too Kaname," she said softly and I was stunned by her voice. It was so gentle.

"Sir, your food is here," the waiter said and I blinked. That was fast. He started to set the plates and after 10 minutes, everything was set. I picked up my chopsticks (yes I know how to use a chopstick) and started to eat. Yin just ate one piece of Sashimi and put her chopstick down, and watched me eat. Once I was done, people began to stare at us and whisper. I wiped my mouth, stood up, and held out my hand. Yin reached out, held it, and we walked towards the front desk, holding hands.

"I'm going to sit outside," Yin said and I nodded.

"How much?" I asked as Yin left.

"Er... that'll be 120.30 sir." The clerk said and said, "Dragon Shadows." The clerk hastily bowed and said, "Sorry my Lord. It'll be free."

"Thank you," I said and walked outside.

(Note=humans do know about our existence)

I looked to the left and saw Yin sitting on the bench. It was already beginning to get dark.

"Let's go Yin." I said and held Yin's hand again. We walked, hands holding, back to the safe house.
