"My Child"

My daughter, my son, what a gift you are to me!
as with my writings, giving birth to someone,
can NEVER be a mistake, always it is meant to be!
You’re lives have taught me so much more!
more on how to be a mother, and a woman,
My child you are the sun that gives me light, in all I couldn’t see!
Because I first became a mother before being a woman!
Everyday YOU teach ME!
And GOD has sent a package, so sacred to me!
Sometimes I just sit and cry thinking of the changes I never knew in me!
As your mother it is overwhelming as with any mother, like me!
So in this lesson I had to learn, it is a test, optimistic, yet I've passed!
And the vision I pray as my child you'd hold on in every obstacle you must overcome!
Always LOVE deep!
Work your hardest!
It is okay to cry when it hurts then get over!
To become a woman, my daughter!
To become a man my son, before you become a mother,
a father, live your life to the fullest,
then you will succeed in a husband, a wife!
My child the results can be worth every breath you breathe!
You will struggle through life indeed!
But I hope and pray you never struggle to be like me!
I will not lead you wrong you deserve the best in me!
My child I LOVE YOU BOTH!
As a mother I hurt you without knowing I did!
Because before I became a woman as a mother some thing's I've ignored
so I make this up to you by becoming a woman,
a mother, a best friend, and in the end it is so much more!!!
