My Body And Soul

The clock strikes 3 am
My head sunk in my pillow.
My eyes stare blankly into nothing
The tears roll down as I blink.
My heart gets heavier as the minutes pass,
I roll from side to side but nothing changes.
The light is off,
I see a shine coming in through the window,
It consumes my body,
It consumes my soul.
I struggle breathing,
And lie there fighting,
Trying so hard to not feel pain;
It’s useless, hopeless
I'm fading slowly,
Love will kill me,
Love will kill all.
