My Angel ~Chapter Three~
Adam has a wondrous dream.
Well it's been a month or two since Jordan gave me Nikki's email and we've been chatting with Jordan and a guy from one of my classes named Evan. We talk a lot after school and I like it. Unfortunately the school year is ending, and Jordan is finally going out with Nikki. At least we're still friends.
Sadly I've gotten used to this. Just friends and nothing more. I guess I'm just not the dating type. As I was about to log off my email, Nikki got on. She always seemed to be on at the right moment to cheer me up. I smiled and started to chat with her.
She surprised me. She said that she didn't know if she actually liked Jordan. She said that she might've done the wrong thing. I thought, "Aww, but he's so happy with you." I told her that may be I could help her out. She asked me what could she do, since she likes him but not enough to go out with him. I typed in, "For me, I know when I love someone. I know it because I have that feeling that whenever I'm away from them it doesn't feel right. Whenever I'm with them it makes life so much better. I know I love someone if I just can't be without them." She typed back, "Okay..." Then a few minutes later she told me that she had broken up with him.
I felt bad for Jordan and Nikki. I know how it is when you break up with someone. The person who tells the other person hurts a lot too, sometimes more than the other person. I told her I was sorry it had to be like this and even though I had things to do. I stayed on. I just wanted to be there for her. I stayed on as long as I could and then my mom told me to go to sleep. I said goodbye to Nikki and turned off my computer and laid down in my bed looking up at the ceiling. I thought to myself about a lot of things but for the most part, they were all about her. I fell asleep without knowing it and started to dream.
There was a beach with a wooden house on it. The sun was low in the sky and looked beautiful with it painting the sky. The ocean responded to this painting and painted the sky's picture on itself. A mixture of saltwater and Pina Colada surrounded me. I opened my eyes to see myself in the kitchen of the wooden house. I looked around and saw the door to the deck open. Looking outside towards the sea, I noticed two lawn chairs on the beach. One of them had a person in it and the other was empty. In between these lawn chairs was a small table with two drinks on it. I looked at myself and saw that all I had on was some swimming trunks and a baggy t-shirt. On the counter of the kitchen were two sandwiches. I couldn't control myself and my arms moved towards the sandwiches and picked them up. I walked outside towards the two lawn chairs and as I got closer to the one with the person in it I noticed that it was a girl looking at the glorious painting and admiring the sun because of its amazing artistry. But before I could see who the mystery girl the dream started to fade away. I opened my eyes to see myself in my room lying on my bed. Boy, do I wish I could see that mysterious figure amid the salty air.
