My (After) Life

I can be young or old
Perhaps a pro or a rookie
Maybe famous or unheard
I have a life with a soul

I can be tall or stout
Perhaps handicapped or not
Maybe liar or a true person
I have to live this life

I can be rich or poor
Perhaps aggressive or not
Maybe a president or a street vendor
I have to go away from this life

I can be alive or dead
Perhaps warm or cold
Maybe on the hospital bed or in the coffin
I’ve already met the Almighty Father
