Muscle Building Routines - Learn which One is Best for You

Not sure what muscle building routine to choose? Here are the main ones that you should consider.
If you’re someone who’s feeling confused about which muscle building routine to follow, it’s time to get the facts straight about the different variations so you can choose the one that suits your needs the best.

The following are the main factors to think about that will play the most critical role in how you progress with your workouts. Equipped with the right knowledge, you should have no problem figuring out which muscle building routine is right for you.

Full Body Workouts

The first thing to consider is a full body workout program. The main advantage to these is that they will allow you to work the body with a very high frequency, which is something that does tend to boost your results provided you are recovering properly.

If you aren’t, then you better prepare yourself to switch over to a different program as recovery will be vital.

Usually these workouts are performed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, however they can be shifted to suit your own individual needs.

Upper/Lower Muscle Building Routines

Next you have upper/lower programs that are performed four days out of the week. These are a great option for those individuals who want to specialize in a certain muscle group since it’ll allow for a greater concentration.

Since you can only perform so many sets and reps per workout, by splitting the body up you help to increase the focus on those parts that really matter.

Bodypart Splits

Finally, the third type of workout program is bodypart splits. These were the traditional form of workout that was commonly used by bodybuilders in the past and has you working just one body part each day.

The main benefit to these is just simply concentrated focus, but the drawback is lack of frequency. Most people will not be able to grow off such a program as it won’t be working each muscle group often enough.

There are a few individuals though who really do prefer this type of workout, so it’s just something to keep in the back of your mind at all times.

So be sure you’re keeping these muscle building routines in mind as you go about determining which one to start up.
