Murder in the Dark
Just came to me in the middle of class one day.
He sits in a room
With a gun to his head
Bride and groom
Both will be dead.
He wishes she had told him
About the affair she had
His thoughts and actions turn grim
Knowing what he does is bad.
She lies bound and gagged on the bed
As he slowly douses her with gasoline
Thoughts of fire and screams dance through his head
Her screams unheard, her body unseen.
As he gives the fire life
He sees the color flee from her face
He devices against the knife
As the fire starts at the bed's base.
He watches her fry
And laughs as she begins to yell
He enjoys watching her die
Knowing he's bound for hell.
As the room goes up in fire
The man only smiles
His cause never dire
The man still beguiles.
The wife now dead,
The groom lies on the bed
Still his cause never dire,
He is consumed by fire.
With a gun to his head
Bride and groom
Both will be dead.
He wishes she had told him
About the affair she had
His thoughts and actions turn grim
Knowing what he does is bad.
She lies bound and gagged on the bed
As he slowly douses her with gasoline
Thoughts of fire and screams dance through his head

As the room goes up in fire
