The Prince of Wales Museum: Positioned on the Mahatma Gandhi Road in Mumbai, the Prince of Wales Museum is famous for its Indo-Saracenic architecture. It was constructed in the early 20th century to mark the visit of the Prince of Wales to India.

Mahalaxmi temple and Siddhi Vinayak Temple: Both Mahalaxmi temple and Siddhi Vinayak temple of Mumbai are the most revered temples of Hindus. Mahalaxmi temple has beautiful images of three Goddesses Mahalaksmi, Mahasaraswati and Mahakali which are made of gold. During Navaratri festival, ardent Hindu devotees throng this temple in large numbers to offer coconut, flowers and sweets to the goddesses.

The famous Siddhi Vinayak temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is located at Prabhadevi in Mumbai. Tuesday is considered to be the most auspicious day when thousands of people stand in queues to pay their homage.

Haji Ali Dargah: Haji Ali Dargah is another most important tourist spot of Mumbai. This pious dargah of Muslim saint Haji Ali is built on a piece of land on the sea which is separated from the mainland by a narrow strip of land. The main shrine is present inside a marble courtyard and a huge
sculpted main entrance leads to this marble courtyard.

Chowpaty and Juhu beach: Situated on marine drive, Chowpatti beach is one of the most popular beach of India. It is famed across the country for bhel-puri and pani -puri chat stalls. These are the favourite fast food among both Mumbaites and visitors to the city.

Another famous tourist spot of Mumbai is Juhu Beach. It is located 30 kms away from the heart of Mumbai. Juhu beach is a long stretch of sandy beach from Santacruz to Vile-Parle and popular for beach picnics and evening walks. Both these beaches are crowded on week-ends.

Film City: Mumbai is the main centre of Hindi film industry of India. Popular as Bollywood, Film city of Mumbai is located at Goregaon (East). Well-equipped indoors and outdoor shooting facilities are available here. Prior permission is required to visit this magic place that churn out thousands of Hindi films every year.
