Multiple Birth Mom - How Many is Too Many?

Who has the right to decide how many children you should have?
The recent story involving the octuplets mom with six children, prior to having 8 more; leads me to wonder how many is too many? I have read several articles and have listened to the news media coverage and the media seems to judge the fact that the mom now has 14 children to care for. They place judgment on the mom. They asked "in the state of this economy, who can afford 14 children"? Well, it appears that the mom recently collected a small fortune from disability from being hurt on her job. She collected $165,000.

Would this be enough to care for 14 children? The mom has chosen to bear 14 Children, after having 3 miscarriages and two ectopic pregnancies prior to giving birth to her first child. The octuplets mom claims that she had a dysfunctional, depressed, childhood, growing up as a single child and calls giving birth a miracle and claimed it helped her spirits.

All of her children were born by in vetro fertilization. Her oldest child is just seven years old. While she knew she would have a multiple birth, she was not fully aware of just how many children she would have. She was giving more embroyo transplants than normally allowed. The sperm was donated from a friend.

The media has swarmed her home; which she lived with her parents. Her parents are claiming to move out before she comes home with the children. She is a single mom,
not married. With all the hype around her situation, who has the right to decide how many children one can have? And, what do they base that decision on? Although
it is noted that she collected $165,000 from disability over a period of time; do you think she would need more state aid in the future? State aid is funded through tax payers.

Could there be mental illness associated with her decision to bear so many children? Or, is it her prerogative to have as many children as she would like?

Although the octuplets mom has received a lot of press about her decision to have multiple births, she is not the only one to have a full house. There is the Duggars with
18 children, and they claim they will have more in the future.

So I wonder, and I ask who has the right to decide how Many children one should have?
