Need a Multi Line Phone System?
Need a Multi Line Phone System for your company?
Over the course of my career I have had the opportunity to work with a few different companies that were small in size when I arrived. Over time the companies grew and more and more employees were hired to meet the needs of the business. As we grew so did our clientele. Their needs came first and in order to better serve our clients we needed a multi line phone system. We began hiring secretaries to answer all of the phone calls which seemed to be endless. In doing so, our client mood was increased because we were able to answer their questions in a timely and most importantly in an ordered manner.
Another feature about the small office phone system which I found to be extremely helpful was an automated voicemail option. In the position I held, I was required to be on the phone 5-6 hours out of my eight hour day. When clients would call in to speak with me, I was not always available at the time to take their phone call; the voicemail system solved the issue for me. Obviously, when I was given the opportunity I was able to listen to their message and respond to resolve concerns our clients had.
Selecting which small office phone system you would like to use depends upon the needs of your business. In my experience I have found that there are features which I prefer to have available to me.
Every business has their specific needs and my experience is more on a small business level. If you are the owner of a larger corporation you may have larger demands which need to be met. One item which I feel is completely necessary is to always perform research. If you decide to work with the first company you find, it may be an erroneous decision, because how can you tell if you are getting the most bang for your buck. Quality is important, but I am positive that there are companies out there in the market which can offer an excellent product at a competitive price. I stand by it, hard works pays off. Do the research and be sure you work with the right company in your selection process.
Make sure you get the best product for the price you pay. A great resource for learning more about which phone system is right for you is Simpliphones. Check out what they can do for you.

Selecting which small office phone system you would like to use depends upon the needs of your business. In my experience I have found that there are features which I prefer to have available to me.
- I would require an expandable phone system. As I had mentioned before, growth is something that will happen and your business needs to be prepared for this. By having this feature available to you, cost will be lowered and efficiency will increase.
- Extra features such as an automated voicemail system. As I had explained earlier, this side of our small business phone system really saved me when I was not available to work with clients who needed me when I was busy with other clients.
- I would also look for an auto attendant feature. This particular feature does not replace the need for an administrative assistant, but it does free up quite a bit of their time. Phone calls which need to be answered will be, but the calls which need to be distributed to other places throughout the office will be taken care of by the phone system.
