Mr. and Mrs. Jack

I know a lovely couple-to-be,
That go by the name of Jack;
The Mr is strong and handsome,
And the Mrs does not beauty lack.

The lovely couple-to-be,
Is far along on the road of love;
I wish for them joy and happiness,
And blessing from God above.

Soon they will take the step,
To become Mr and Mrs Jack;
A step that promises to bring,
Peace and happiness back.

Tis a world of high uncertainty,
Where things change from day to day;
I wish they would hasten along,
And to each other the wedding vow say!

There are a few obstacles I hear,
That are getting quite in the way;
Making a nuisance of themselves,
And delaying the wedding day.

Tis of course a great risk to take,
For all might not go as planned;
But unless the risk is taken,
True love will not be hand in hand.

So hurry and hasten and rush,
For there is not a moment to waste;
Let the wedding take place fast
The cake and dinner we want to taste!
