Motorcycle Saddle Bags
Motorcycle saddle bags are soft, hard or aluminum. Sportster saddlebags, Saddlebag Fender Guard, Throwover saddlebags, Large Slant Saddlebags and Motorcycle saddle bags are some of the types of saddlebags. The features of motorcycle saddle bags are also mentioned.

Saddlebag Fender Guard
This prevents the saddlebag yoke from rubbing against the bike's fender. Velcro straps fasten to the underside of the saddlebag yoke. This spans 22 inches long. The height is 9" and width is 21". This is perfect for protecting the bike's fender from saddlebag scuffs. This soft pad connects to the underside of the saddlebag's yoke and is held in position with Velcro straps. This pad rests between the bags' yoke and the fender to help prevent scuff marks.
Throwover saddlebags

The thick 3.6 to 4.0 mm heavy-duty top-grain leather construction provides exceptional durability and is the ideal addition to any bike. The slanted design of the throwover bag is made to contour to the angle of the motorcycle's rear shocks.
Large Slant Saddlebags

Motorcycle saddle bags
The standard saddlebag features are:
- double layer leather construction : This is a 10-12 oz leather thickness. The sags are reduced and this results in a long saddlebag life.
- Reinforced and heavy-duty backs : Two 1/8" thick plastic plates are kept over a heavy-duty silicon-impregnated leather.
- Extended flap : The flap is extended further down the back of the bag. This avoids the flap from sagging and assists in reinforcing the back of the bag.
- Extra-strong and rot-proof nylon thread : This prevents dry-rot and raises the saddlebag's durability.
- Strong rivets : These are nickel-plated, rustproof and brass rivets.
- Heavy-duty buckles : These are large, attractive heavy-duty buckles for the large bags and small, durable, roller buckles for the small bags and tool pouches.
- Leather straps : These are the best, fully tanned harness leather for extra wear and durability.
- Lined flaps : Quality, black textile-fur lined flaps and yokes.
- Deluxe braid trim : Premium braid trim provides the proper accent.
- Piping color : Black piping color is standard. There are now 28 colors.
There is a unique double-layer leather construction. A top layer of choice top grain leather is bonded to a lower layer of tough silicon-rubber treated leather. The result is a leather composite with a thickness more than 1/8 of an inch that is equivalent to a superior strength 10 to 12 oz leather. As the inner silicon-rubber treated leather has an increased wear-life against other leather, the durability and strength is longer than products having equivalent leather thickness.
