Motivation for Weight Loss

Are you planning and re-planning to lose weight? Do you find it next to impossible, to just get down to working out? Well, then what you lack is motivation. Fret not, this article is the ideal motivation for weight loss. I guarantee that you will want to start working off some sweat, once you are done reading this.
Motivation for Weight Loss
Before I start off with any weight loss fundamentals, I need you to ask yourself a question "Why do I want to lose weight?", if the answer is anything ranging between "for myself" to "to be fit" or "healthy living", then you will find it much easier to stay focused on the healthy weight loss goal. But, even if the answer is something like, "to be more attractive", "to fit into my old skinny jeans again" or "to attract hot people", it is alright, you just need to prioritize right. You need to be aware that weight loss is for self and for health. If you try to associate natural weight loss with popularity, you will find yourself demotivated and plus five pounds soon. So, re-assess your reasoning, and focus on self, not society.

Motivation for Weight Loss - Step # 1
Once you have decided your "purpose", you can carry on to getting the more tangible facts straightened out to get motivation for weight loss. You need to keep a record of certain figures. What is your current weight? What is your goal weight? By when do you plan to achieve your goal weight? How much time in a day do you plan on work out a day? What is your total calorie intake on an average day? Once you have made a note of the answers to these questions, you need to plan. Always remember, adequate planning is the key to any kind of success. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! You need to make sure that you have set a weekly estimated goal for yourself. That is, your goal weight on a weekly basis. This will keep you on your toes, and away from procrastination.

Motivation for Weight Loss - Step # 2
So, now that you have your figures set on paper, it is time to start on getting it in reality, as well. You need to work out consistently. Start off slow, but not too slow. You need to be aware of the fact that it is best to start any weight loss regimen with knowing how to burn stomach fat. Stomach fat is the toughest to lose and associated with all other parts of the body. So, whilst you do your muscle specific exercises, pay attention to your fat belly as well. Follow a regular work out routine, but change it every week. Make sure that you graduate to more intensity in the work out, this will increase your stamina. More so, your body will not stop responding to the work out (which is, often, the reason why people feel demotivated after a point of time).

Motivation for Weight Loss - Step # 3
Competition is often a catalyst in the success chemistry. You could make it work for you as well. You could have a buddy system wherein a friend and you can work out together. This will help you compare the stamina levels. Another plan that could work is, the both of you could compare the hours of work out and the end result at the end of a week. This way, both of you will want to have better results than the other, and competition will come to your rescue for motivation. More so, it will keep you refreshed and in check. Sole work outs can, at times, fail, due to lack of "check points". You could also try participating in a weekly sport, not only will this help you lose weight, but it is also a great way to socialize with health-aware people (and meet some interesting ones)!

Motivation for Weight Loss - Step # 4
Weight loss motivation quotes can be a much needed, added push for weight loss. You can put up a few quotes and motivational weight loss sayings in your house, gym room or even your locker. This will help you keep the goal in mind. More so, you should definitely keep some on your fridge, that will stop you from random junk eating (don't you think).
You could try out these quotes:
"If you don't do what's best for your body, you're the one who comes up on the short end" - Julius Erving
"Instead of giving myself reasons why I can't, I give myself reasons why I can." - Unknown Author
"Never, never, never, never give up." - Winston Churchill
"Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live." - Jim Rohn
"The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body. The more efficient your body, the better you feel and the more you will use your talent to produce outstanding results." - Anthony Robbins
All these quotes will work only when coupled with the other steps given above. Just the quotes will help you at writing an article, not losing weight!

The biggest motivation for weight loss is to, actually, lose weight. So, work out consistently, and don't be deterred if you don't see results in the start. Once you start seeing results, I am sure you will not think of giving up. This is where I sign off! Have a great work out!
