Mother of Hate

I know I can't stay here another day,
I have to go, there is no stopping it,
They tried to help me with their drugs,
Locking me inside the four white walls.

The darkness never fled,
Voice plead, begging me to stay,
I watched as my blood flowed out of my veins,
Staining my pale skin.

I smile, taking the red liquid to my lips,
I know all the secrets they were keeping,
I know the truth,
My whole life was a lie, a beautiful lie.

After I'm gone, will you remember me?
After I vanish into the air, will you remember me?
I knew you never loved me
I remember the day I felt your hand hit my face,
I thought mothers were supposed to help, not hurt.
