Most Affiliate Online Businesses are a Dime a Dozen!

If you’re new to online marketing, you may not have seen the multitude of affiliate online businesses who have various websites which all read about the same. Do you want to learn how I made $25,000 in just 1 day! As I always say, watch out for the scams out there.

Again, if you’re relatively new to all of this, you may not know what affiliate marketing is. For a very basic explanation, an affiliate marketer is someone who is the middle person between someone buying and someone selling something online.

You can do this independently, or you can actually be affiliated with a company. I point this out because many of the ads you read online are actually people who are selling various tools to help you bring traffic to whatever you are selling. In other words, they may not be trying to get you to sell their stuff, or program, just pay for access to the methods they use to supposedly make that $25,000 a day. In other words, there’s so much going on out here on the internet, that if you don’t know what you’re doing, it can be a bit overwhelming and confusing!

The point here is that you need to proceed with caution, and if you put money out for something, you should know exactly what it’s for. And if you’re joining a program, you should know about the future costs if there are any. I say this because many a neophyte has felt scammed, when in actuality they might be working with a decent program, but they just didn’t find out all the particulars from the beginning. I suppose some companies don’t make it as clear as they could from the beginning, however, it’s buyer beware.

I would like to say a few words about affiliate programs like Clickbank and Paydotcom. If you didn’t know, you could go there right now, sign up for free, and pick any of their products and try to sell them. It’s free, and you can basically do the marketing for free, but if you don’t know what you’re doing, you could be an affiliate for the best, and most popular product in the world, and you wouldn’t make a dime. This is when you may start tooling around on the internet, and run into the ads that I mentioned above. If someone says they can show you how to bring a million people to your website, you may just be frustrated and tired enough to buy into it and decide to spend some money.

Now I’m not saying there aren’t tools that are useful, because there certainly are. However, to just buy something without knowing anything about it would probably backfire on you. Maybe you’re already in the position of being involved with trying to make some money and you’re getting nowhere fast. If you are, you’re the perfect candidate for the 97% club. If you haven’t heard, that’s a reference to the cold hard fact that 97% of internet marketers fail and quit. They fail because they don’t know how to market, and they quit because they have no knowledge base to draw from to help them get to dry land.
