What would you say if you were offered immortality?
If you could live forever
Would you grow tired?
Of seeing the centuries go by
Would new innovations and changes
Still excite you?
Friends and family dead and gone
Always new faces before you
Leaving behind memories of days
That used to be
Places dear to you
Changed or lost as time marches on
If you could live forever
Would you gain peace
In your immortality?
Or would you fade like a flower
That’s grown oh so tired
And wish to be mortal again.....
