Monster in my Room

It makes my heartbeat faster when I recall that night
I was in a bad mood sleeping after a bad day and a fight
Turning and tumbling in my bed
Sleep was far away from my eyes I was that sad
Then I just looked up at my ceiling and saw two ears
Oh then I saw something that took the test of all my fears
For once my head was shaken like I've heard a sonic boom
You won't believe me but I saw a monster in my room

I tried to stand up from my bed and scream out loud
I did everything still nothing but tout
I went to open the door but it got locked
And then to my horror that ugly monster talked
''I am here to make this night the worst you ever had
Day wasn't as good but the night would be even bad."
I cried, I begged I asked him if there was anything that I could do
And then what is saw was my life's weirdest view
The monster changed his size with a big boom
You wouldn't believe me but there was a monster in my room

The monster had grown so weak and small
I couldn't believe that a monster can be 2 feet tall
I asked him what has made him that way
I saw him crying too much that he wasn't able to say
It might sound funny but I wiped away his tears
I was feeling like I've fought away my fears
I was thinking of a way to make him bloom
It's difficult to trust but I had a monster in my room

After a 2 hours struggle he finally told me why was he crying
He said he was hungry and tired of trying
He asked me if I can be offer him some food
How could I've refused as am so good
So I gave him a piece of rotten chicken that could have been some help
He said he's a vegetarian and that's the reason for his poor health
Cuz every house he has been to has offered him something non veg
I said you're lucky cuz am the vegetarian of the house, yes!
I gave him a pizza, finally he got something veg.
Suddenly I heard the buzz of a fly ...."vroom''
It was just a dream where I saw a monster in my room.
