Mold is one of those fungus that breed on any damp surface. During reproduction, they liberate some tiny spores in the air, which get stuck on some new moist area and molds start growing there.   • Applying a mixture of soap and water on the molds is an easy and simple way of to remove them. However, it cannot permeate the deeper surfaces where the actual growth of mold takes place and the mixture is too mild to act as a disinfectant.
  • Chlorine bleach can be used for removal of toxic black molds. You have to prepare a mixture with one cup of bleach and one gallon of water and put it into a spray bottle. This solution can be used for killing molds.
  • A solution made up of water and vinegar can be an effective treatment for the elimination of molds from the bathroom or kitchen area.
  • Alcohol can act as a remedy for household mold removal. You have to rub the alcohol on the surface affected by the growth of mold. This is done mainly to get rid of the molds that are accumulated on leather items as you cannot apply any harsh chemicals upon them.
  • Sunlight is a natural and the safest solution for toxic mold removal. All the household goods contracted by molds should be put up in sunlight for some time and the molds will be destroyed.

There are many parts of your house where molds can grow. Before beginning the task of mold removal, you have to identify those areas, which have been affected by the molds. Ensure that you are ready with protective gears, like gloves and masks, prior to the task of cleaning molds. Certain tips for mold removal are given below:
  • Remove all the unwanted materials that are present in the affected area and clean up the place.

  • Last, but not the least, put all the things that were used for removing molds in a garbage bag and throw it away after sealing properly.
Moisture plays a key role in the growth of molds. To prevent its growth, you should keep the rooms in your house ventilated, to ensure circulation of air. You should use air conditioners in hot and humid weather and dehumidifiers when it is cold and humid for keeping the molds at bay.
