  • Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Bitters
  • White Rum
  • Limes Quartered
  • Sugar Cane Juice (Guarapo)
  • Club Soda
  • Crushed Ice
Preparation
  1. Muddle 6 mint leaves, 4 drops bitters and 3 limes quarters in a tall cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and add two ounces of light rum.
  3. Fill the shaker with sugar cane juice (guarapo) leaving ½'' at top of shaker.
  4. Fill the ½ '' with club soda.
  5. Shake vigorously for few seconds. Pour the mixture in to a tall mojito glass. Garnish it with lime wedge and sugarcane stick.

  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • 4 Mint Leaves
  • 1 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 Ounces of Club Soda

Preparation
  1. Put the mint leaves in to a long mojito glass and pour some lime juice over it.
  2. Add powdered sugar, then gently smash the mint leaves and sugar in to lime juice with a muddler. If you don't have a muddler you can also use a spoon or a fork.
  3. Add crushed ice, rum and club soda. Stir all the added ingredients well and garnish it with a mint twig.

The Bacardi mojito is an uplifting beverage. Bacardi is a rum based alcoholic drink from Cuba. Bacardi rum is made from molasses. Molasses is mixed with fresh ground water and a yeast agent which helps the molasses turn in to alcohol. The alcohol is then filtered with charcoal to remove impurities. The flavor of different types of rum is determined by distillation method and yeasts used for fermentation.

  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 Ounce Lime Juice

Bacardi Mojito Instructions

Strawberry Mojito Recipe

Ingredients
  • Powdered Sugar for Rimming
  • 2 Large Limes Quartered
  • 6 Mint Leaves
  • 7 Strawberries Quartered
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 2 cups club soda
  • 8 cups ice cubes
Preparation
  1. Pour some sugar in to a small, shallow plate. Rub one of the lime quarters around the each mojito glass. Dip the glasses in sugar to rim; keep the glasses aside.
  2. Squeeze all the lime quarters in to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Put the juiced limes in to the pitcher along with mint leaves, strawberries and 1 cup sugar.
  4. Crush all the ingredients with a muddler to release the juice of strawberries and oil from mint leaves.
  5. Add rum and club soda and stir the mixture until sugar has completely dissolved.
  6. Pour in to the sugared mojito glasses and serve with crushed ice.
