Face Mask #01

Ingredients
  • 3 teaspoons oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 3 teaspoons honey
Preparation
Cook the oatmeal according to the directions given in the package and then, allow it to cool. When the oatmeal is completely cooled, add honey and yogurt to it. Mix thoroughly and let it stand for a half an hour or so. This helps the oatmeal to soften and the mixture to become a smooth paste. Apply the paste on your face and rinse with cool water after 20 - 30 minutes.

Face Mask #02

Ingredients
  • 1 banana, ripe
  • 4 - 5 tablespoons almonds
  • Mineral water
  • 3 teaspoons honey
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, take the ripe banana and mash it completely. Put in almonds and honey into the bowl and stir to make paste. You can add mineral water to the paste to get the perfect consistency. Rinse your face first and then, apply this banana paste on it. Place cucumber slices on your eyes and lie down peacefully for 20 - 25 minutes. Face Mask #03

Ingredients
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 teaspoons buttermilk or plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup cooked oatmeal
  • 1/8 cup rose petal powder
Preparation
Take cooked oatmeal in a mixing bowl and pour buttermilk or yogurt into it. Mix well and then, add the egg yolk into it. Combine all the ingredients together by adding honey into the mixture, and then apply it on your face. This face mask works wonders for dry skin.

Face Mask #04

Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 4 tablespoons clay
  • 2 drops jojoba oil
  • 2 teaspoons honey
Preparation
Take clay in a bowl and combine by pouring water into it. Add lemon juice, honey and jojoba oil into the clay mixture and stir till a smooth paste is formed. Apply this paste on your face and allow it to stay for fifteen minutes. Wash your face with cold water.

Face Mask #05

Ingredients
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon yogurt
Preparation
This face mask is not only easy to make, but also very effective. Blend the cucumber and yogurt in an electric blender and when it turns into a smooth paste, spread it on your entire face. After 20 minutes, wash your face with cold water and pat it dry.

Before you apply any of these masks, make sure that you wash your face thoroughly with a good moisturizing face wash or cleanser. This is important because these face masks may not be effective on skin that has dirt and grime on it. Apart from exfoliating your skin, exposing your skin to steam will also be great.
