If you thought that square and rectangle is the only possible shape that a throw pillow can come in, simply search the Internet or go looking for them in a home store. You will be surprised to find these in the most unusual of shapes. There are kangaroo-shaped pillows, face-shaped pillows, square pillows with a big flower attached to the modern throw pillow covers in the front, Buddha-shaped pillows, dog-shaped pillows, etc. As for the colors, they come in grays, whites, blacks, all pastel shades and even bright colors such as red, orange, blue and fluorescent green!

Designs

The designs range from the minimalist, such as horizontal, vertical or zigzag lines to the more complicated mid century designs which exhibit things like "Om", "Guitars", "Butterflies" and other modern and psychedelic art designs, which are reminiscent of the 1960s', 1970s' rock and hippie era.

For those of you who want to extend the glamor and glitz of Hollywood right into their living room, there are Hollywood inspired cheap throw pillows available, which come in turquoise, yellow and white color, accented by bold black graphics. They are available in a number of fabric materials such as cotton, silk, knitted, leather, linen, velvet and suede. Although suede is the most popular choice, yet they can be pretty hard to wash and maintain. If you ask me, my personal favorites are cotton throw pillows which have "love", "joy", "peace" written on them. Cotton is easy on skin and these words on the pillow make the room look warm, comfortable and inviting! So, you can see, there is a whole lot of variety in throw pillows. Choose the ones which suit and add on to your interiors!
