Mobile Phone Deals - Too Many to Count

The mobile industry in UK today is witnessing a problem of plenty with the mobile phone deals. With so many phone manufacturers and network service providers competing against each other, the user is both confused and overjoyed at the same time.
We are seeing a multitude of mobile phone deals and offers being offered these days. As the use of mobile phone grew, the opportunity for phone manufacturer also grew with it. More and more manufactures entered this segment which ultimately led to fierce competition amongst themselves. Today, mobile phone deals are being seen as the answer that would result in maximum benefit for both users and service providers alike.

Overall, these deals are mainly classified into Contract phones, SIM free phones and pay as you go ones (payg). Depending upon the individual requirement and preference, one can select any type of deal from these three. Contract phones are especially popular amongst these three as a user gets benefits of free gifts, attractive deals and discounts and to top it all the handset of his choice almost free of cost. All this seems to good to be true but the fact is that due to the agreement between the service provider and the phone manufacturer, such an arrangement has been worked out. Thus, after entering into a contract for a fixed duration of 1 year or more, the user gets subsidised calling rates in addition to free handset and a gift like laptop, playstation or LCD.

A number of contract phone deals are available these days including Samsung Jet which is available with O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. Similarly, the HTC Hero is available with above mentioned network providers along with attractive gifts like Sony Laptop and Nintendo Wii. However, not everyone wishes to enter into a contract or pay heavy monthly bills. For such users, the pay as you go phones (payg) often serves as the ideal choice. A user just has to select a network provider and a handset supported by that provider. This is followed by purchasing credit or minutes in advance which one uses as per requirement.

Payg are especially suitable for those with minimum use of mobile phones, college students etc. Just lik contract phones, a number of sophisticated gadgets are available under this scheme as well. This includes LG Arena, which is presently the most popular handset from the company. The LG cookie is also available and is one handset that has created new records in terms of maximum selling edition. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic edition is also available for the users. Nokia's answer to business phones, the E series with its sophisticated range of gadgets is available with Orange, Vodafone and O2. Samsung has introduced some landmark handsets in recent times which are available with payg mobile phone deals like Samsung Pixon, Samsing Jet and the hugely popular Samsung tocco lite.

SIM free constitutes the third type of mobile handsets. A user is at liberty to choose whichever handset he likes, be it a new or an old one. All that is required is to insert a SIM card from a particular network service provider into the handset and start using the services. In case one finds the service unsatisfactory, then the user is at liberty to switch over without requiring any prior consent of the earlier one. Some of the most popular handsets including Nokia N97 and Sony Ericsson W995 are available with SIM free deals. Overall, we see that there is no lack of options as far as mobile phone deals are concerned. One can gladly choose between the lucrative contractual phones or the payg ones with their freedom.
