Mix Breeds of Dogs
Mix breeds of dogs are also known by the various names such as mongrel, mutt, tyke or cur. Mix dog breeds are beneficial in the sense of clubbing together the traits of two good quality purebreds. Littermates i.e. offspring of the same purebred parents may not resemble each other, neither may they resemble their parents. One may show the traits of one parent more whereas the other sibling may show the characteristics of the other parent prominently; or the pups may be better than both the purebred parents, altogether. The permutations and combinations may vary to a great degree. Crossbreeding is beneficial and is done on a large scale to eliminate the disorders of the pure breeds. For this, efficient health testing of the puppies is necessary.

As long as there are different breeds of dogs evolving every time, we may continue to get new and unique breeds of dogs. Nevertheless, cross breeding without logically thinking of the consequences, may produce undesired outcomes. Even though, many cross breeds are found to be tougher than their purebred parents, crossbreeding the hybrids can dilute this effect, thus giving rise to weak offsprings.
