Mischa Barton Hospitalized

Barton, 21, was attending a barbecue at pal Masha Gordon’s home on May 27 and reportedly mixed antibiotics and alcohol. Barton’s publicist said that she had "an adverse reaction" after drinking a few cocktails on top of the medication she was taking to combat bronchitis. A source at the party said that Barton consumed a "sh*tload of alcohol" and other sources claim that she may have been partaking in some other "recreational drugs." Leslie Sloane Zelnick, Barton’s rep, said, "She is fine now."

A source at the party said of Barton, "Her face turned completely white and she spent over 30 minutes in the bathroom. It was really scary." Another source reported that Barton was writing on the floor and screaming, "I’m dying! I’m dying!" She was rushed by ambulance to Sherman Oaks Hospital where she was treated and released about five hours later with strict orders to rest. Barton is reportedly now overseas working on a new movie. She is set to appear in the upcoming period piece Virgin Territory.

Barton has reportedly been partying pretty hard. In March it was reported that she was out with friends Jamie-Lyn Sigler and Kirsten Dunst in New York City at the hotspot The Anchor. A source said, "They were partying, going crazy. At one point Mischa suddenly ran out the door and threw up outside. Jamie-Lynn ran outside after her, but it wasn't a big deal. They were laughing." It was also reported that Barton was spotted smoking a marijuana cigarette in Cannes, France on May 20. Although compared to some of her other peers like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton her partying seems somewhat tame…
