Fort Benning, Ohio
Fort Benning, established in the year 1918, in Columbia, being named after Brigadier General Henry L. Benning. This spot is located at Muscogee in southeast of Columbus. The other base is housed at Chattahoochee in Georgia. The county of Russel is in Alabama. It's a self sustaining military community providing training and housing to 120,000 military members and their families. Fort Benning, being the home of the United States Army Maneuver Center, has the capability to deploy forces by air, highway or rail, instantly.

Fort Jackson, South Carolina
Fort Jackson was harbored in the year 1917, known as Camp Jackson, initially. It is located in South Carolina. The fort is named after Andrew Jackson, the 7th US President and an Army General. It was created in the year of World War I. The camp was abandoned at the conclusion of World War I, in the year 1922 but the outbreak of Korean War allowed it to remain active till the 21st century. Today, it is the largest Initial Entry Training Center in the US Army. From the entire mass of soldiers, it provides training to 50% of men and 80% to women.

Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri
Fort Leonardo Wood military base is located at Ozarks, Missouri, named in honor of General Leonard Wood, a former Chief of Staff of the US Army. The base was created in December 1940, with the motive to train infantry troops. Later in the year 1941, it attained a hierarchical post, for the purpose of engineering training. The post is situated at a remote destination and at a considerable distance from the metropolitan center. Being based at a rugged terrain, soldiers have to undergo rigorous boot camp training session under extreme climatic variation.

Fort Knox, Kentucky
Fort Knox in Kentucky, was fortified in the year 1860 during the civil war. It covers a vast area of 109,000 acre stretching to counties of Bullitt, Meade and Hardin. The US Army Armor School is also located in this camp, that provides military training to young soldiers. Fort Knot is considered as one of the prime locations for US Army BCT. General George Patton Museum located inside Fort Knox, presents the history of the Armored Forces and the US Army Cavalry.

Fort Sill, Oklahoma
Fort Still is considered as a National Historic Landmark, being the only Army installation fort built in the South Plains during the Indian wars. It was raised by Major General Philip H. Sheridan, in the year 1869 for the purpose of combating with the hostile tribes invading Kansas and Texas. The US Army Field Artillery School is located in this military base. It provides training to military corps as the Field Artillery MOS school is located inside Fort Still. The other two popular schools being conducted under Fort Still are, the US Army's Air Defense Artillery School and The 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade School.
