Miley Cyrus to Star in Movie Written Just for Her

Miley Cyrus is happy to keep playing "Hannah Montana" in the long-running Disney series, but she doesn’t want to do any more films as that character – despite that, she will star in a film written just for her by the author of "The Notebook."
Those waiting for the next "Hannah Montana" movie are just plain out of luck as Miley Cyrus, Disney starlet and -running Disney series. Miley did note, however, that she’d love to return to the big screen in other roles. Said Cyrus, "I feel like this is a TV show and we got really lucky with having the material to make one movie. To do another one, I feel like it takes away the reality of it all. We are continuing to do season three, and we all wish to do a season four, and I would love to do that if the time is right and if that’s what everyone agrees on. I don’t know if I would do another firm, but I would love to do another season. I think that would be what we would all agree on."

Cyrus will get her wish to hit the big screen outside of the "Hannah Montana" context, as she’ll begin shooting a film with "Notebook" author Nicholas Sparks, who wrote a novel and related screenplay just for Cyrus. Said Cyrus of the deal, "You never really hear that the movie was written before the book. It’s kind of a weird way to do that. But he wrote the movie before he wrote the book, and he wrote it with me in mind."

There’s not much word on what the new movie will be about, as those involved with its production are being very secretive. Still, we at least have word that the film will deal with family and love issues. "I’ve always been lucky to play parts that related to me – and this doesn’t at all," said Cyrus of the pending role. "I have my issues, but not as bad as this chick! I am happy to play someone who is just kind of out there and not someone that I am like."
