Miley Cyrus’s Birthday Present from Dad is Music to Her Ears

Miley Cyrus, Disney’s "Hanna Montana" star, celebrated her Sweet 16th birthday in style at Disneyland recently, with the theme park closing down to accommodate her early birthday bash. Nonetheless, the Disneyland extravaganza was just the beginning of the continuing celebration, which got kicked up a notch recently when her country singing star father, Billy Ray Cyrus, bought his daughter the birthday present of a lifetime. Asked about the gift, the elder Cyrus noted, "No, she didn’t want a Mercedes, she wanted a recording studio. She just wanted a place to record there at the house. She’s been writing a lot of songs a lot of really great material." Earlier rumors had the crooner buying a Mercedes for his soon-to-be-driving daughter, but apparently that has been put on hold for at least a little while.

Apparently Miley won’t be the only musician taking to the new studio, as Billy Ray has indicated he’ll likely "play" with the new toy as well. "It’s a great place for us to get up there and work out some tunes and sing. We both love doing harmonies and we could just jump in there and make all kinds of music and be real creative."

Asked about her new gift, Miley told reporters on Sunday, her actual birthday, "It’s gonna be dope! I’m so stoked! I think I get it tomorrow. I think it gets like all put in." Asked about the Mercedes rumor, Miley told reporters, "I don’t even have my license or anything so it’d be kind of like dumb to get one and just let it sit. I’d like to wait until I’m more ready for the road, cause I don’t know if the roads are ready for me yet!" We concur, Miley....we concur.
