Mike Tyson Arrested for Fight with Photographer at LAX

Mike Tyson has been on a personal roller coaster for the better part of his life, and things just seem to keep happening to him. The most recent incident occurred yesterday at LAX, with Tyson and a photographer apparently coming to blows as a result of some sort of argument. As a result of the incident, police arrested both men and charged them with battery based on the statements of the other.

Police stated the Tyson was very cooperative throughout the process and that there were no problems. He was released on his own recognizance sometime last evening and there is no word at this point as to how the legal proceedings will play out.

There will almost certainly be some sort of civil suit filed by the photographer, although Tyson is certainly not the likely celebrity windfall that he may have been about 15 years ago. Instead, it's likely the Tyson wouldn't have much to give the photographer, even if a judge ordered him to do so.

The photographer in the incident was taken to the hospital with injuries to his face. There were no reports of injuries to Mike Tyson. With the constant presence of overly aggressive photographers and paparazzi at LAX, incidents seem to be occurring with more frequency. Kanye West and his manager were both recently charged with vandalism after apparently destroying a photographer's camera while at the airport. Charges were eventually dismissed by the judge.
